The captain's role is intentionally unobtrusive, hosting the environment with professionalism and discretion while respectfully giving guests the space and privacy to engage without interruption.

The two-hour experience is intentionally paced to minimize wind and engine noise, creating a calm setting for meaningful conversation- often enjoyed with a glass of bourbon or a drink of choice.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own cigars. If forgotten, Gentle Wake provides one complimentary cigar per passenger from a curated sampler. The charter is BYOB, with ice and glassware provided, and hosted by a captain who maintains a relaxed, unobtrusive presence.
